A host microcontroller circuit determines distance by triggering the Ultrasonic Module and then measuring the echo time indicated by the pulse width output of the sensor.
How the module works:
(1) Module automatically sends eight 40kHz square wave and automatically detects for a signal return;
(2) IO trigger ranging to at least 10uS high signal;
(3) The signal return produces a high output once detected by the module.
